Aims & Objectives

CITRI will raise funds in two primary ways:

• By requesting direct donations of resources, funds and equipment from leading IT & Service companies that share our vision and commitment to making the world a better place.
  
  

• Through the auction of .IQ domain names . This is the top level Internet domain extension assigned to Iraq , which has so far been an unused resource. We will encourage both individuals and corporations to bid for their own .IQ domain. Not only will all the funds raised be reinvested in CITRI projects delivering the Internet and education to the people of Iraq , but the .IQ domain is set to become a mark of distinction on the Internet.
